Matt Grevers, David Plummer go gold-silver in 100 backstroke at world swimming championships (video)


Jeremy Stravius had a .03 lead on the Olympic champion Matt Grevers at the 100-meter turn. David Plummer, third at the Olympic trials and the 2013 U.S. champion, came back from outside the top three at the turn for silver. Grevers joins Jeff Rouse, Lenny Krayzelburg and Aaron Peirsol as American men to win Olympic and world titles in the 100 back. Stravius and Camille Lacourt were the co-2011 world champions.
