There are no Olympics or World Championships for track and field next year, which could open up outside opportunities for Usain Bolt.
Samuel L. Jackson hopes those include a movie role.
The actor said Bolt will ‘hopefully’ be in the script for the 2014 film “The Secret Service.” The movie is based on comic books and has Colin Firth and Michael Caine playing super agents, according to the BBC. It will be directed by Brit Matthew Vaughn.
Jackson, who will play a villain in the film, also said soccer star David Beckham will play himself in the movie.
“The world has changed in such an interesting way, fame is more important sometimes now than acting ability is in a certain way,” Jackson said, according to the BBC. “So that will be one of the unique aspects of this film, that there’ll be people like David Beckham and hopefully Usain Bolt and other people that they have in the script.”
