The top three Americans at the World Championships in October will lead the U.S. field at the American Cup in Greensboro, N.C., on March 1.
World all-around champion Simone Biles, silver medalist Kyla Ross and Sam Mikulak, who finished sixth, accepted invitations into the event, according to USA Gymnastics.
A second U.S. man as well as international competitors are expected to be announced in 2014.
Biles, 16, made her senior international debut in 2013 and won the most medals (four) and most gold medals (two) of any woman at the World Championships.
Ross, 17, was the youngest member of the U.S. Olympic Team that won gold in London. She won three silver medals at the World Championships.
Mikulak, 21, also competed in the 2012 Olympics and is the reigning U.S. and NCAA all-around champion.
Katelyn Ohashi and Jacob Dalton won the 2013 American Cup in Worcester, Mass. Past winners include Jordyn Wieber (three times), Nastia Liukin (twice), Mary Lou Retton (three times), Nadia Comaneci, Paul Hamm and Vitaly Scherbo (twice).
