Bode Miller never doubted he would come back from major knee surgery in February 2012.
Here he is, back on the World Cup tour, going for broke like the Bode of old. And many might shrug off the five-time Olympic medalist because of his age, at 36, trying to make his fifth U.S. Olympic Team.
To do so would be unwise and to ignore his history of head-turning skiing, both surprising and disappointing.
