Yuna Kim won what’s likely to be her final South Korean National Championship on Sunday (recap here). It was pretty big news, evidenced by the photo below.
In Sochi, Kim, 23, will try to become the first woman to defend an Olympic figure skating title since Katarina Witt in 1988. She’ll face stiff competition from 2010 Olympic silver medalist Mao Asada of Japan.
Kim is expected to retire after Sochi, ending one of the greatest careers in figure skating history.
