Kikkan Randall wins cross-country sprint in Poland

Kikkan Randall won a World Cup cross-country sprint for the second straight week, solidifying her chances of winning the first U.S. Olympic gold medal in the sport.

Randall, 31 and of Anchorage, won in Szklarska Poreba, Poland, by .25 of a second in the freestyle sprint final Saturday. She has won two of the three World Cup freestyle sprints she’s entered this season and finished second in the other.

Randall is the two-time reigning World Cup champion in the sprint and set to make her fourth U.S. Olympic Team.
