Kobe Bryant doesn’t plan on making a run for a third Olympic gold medal, but he wouldn’t mind attending the 2016 Rio Olympics to see Lakers teammate Pau Gasol win a third straight silver.

Bryant, who will turn 38 in 2016, made the comments before Monday’s game against the Chicago Bulls, who are coached by Tom Thibodeau, a 2016 Olympic assistant coach to Mike Krzyzewski.

If Bryant were to change his mind and make the 2016 Olympic Team, he would be the oldest U.S. Olympic men’s basketball player ever, according to sports-reference.com.
