South Africa cable TV has round-the-clock plans for the Oscar Pistorius trial in March.

MultiChoice will launch a temporary 24-hour channel dedicated to trial coverage on March 2, the day before the trial is set to begin in Pretoria. It will be called, “The Oscar Pistorius Trial: A Carte Blanche Channel,” according to South African reports.

The South African Pistorius, the first double amputee to run in the Olympics in 2012, will go on trial from March 3-20 in Pretoria after being charged with murdering girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.

Pistorius said he thought Steenkamp was an intruder when he shot through his bathroom door and killed her in the early morning hours on Valentine’s Day.

It is yet to be determined if the trial will be allowed to be broadcast live. Video has not been allowed during any of Pistorius’ previous court appearances.

Representatives for Pistorius and the Steenkamp family have reportedly been in settlement talks for months.
