U.S. snowboarder Jamie Anderson hopes to translate her impressive work at the X Games to the 2014 Olympics as the women’s snowboard slopestyle event debuts at Sochi.
Anderson, 23, brings those X Games credentials into the event. She managed to win gold four times, silver twice and bronze twice in the a run of eight slopestyle competitions.
Canada’s Spencer O’Brien ranks among the better contenders beyond Anderson. Other notable names include Norway’s Kjersti Buass and Silje Norendal, Finland’s Enni Rukajarvi and Australia’s Torah Bright.
