For the first time ever, women’s ski jumping will be an Olympic event. Training begins at 6 a.m. ET on Saturday.
Sarah Hendrickson is one of the leading stars, although her U.S. teammates Lindsey Van and Jessica Jerome are worth noting (and also made a big impact on getting the event into the Olympics in the first place).
That doesn’t mean one should be too cocky about America making it onto the podium, however, as Japan’s Sara Takanashi ranks among those expected to provide competition.
The preparation begins on Saturday, so check out the live stream.
