Cameras caught Bode Miller crying after a run that earned him a record-breaking bronze medal in men’s super-G on Sunday, but he wasn’t emotional solely because of a possible swansong performance. The 36-year-old thought of his brother Chelone, who died at age 29 in April.

As this slideshow reveals, Miller couldn’t contain his emotions on the course.
