Swedish freestyle skier Henrik Harlaut may not have won a medal in the men’s ski slopestyle competition, but he was still a pretty memorable figure last Thursday.
For starters, he couldn’t keep his pants from falling down.
And after one of his runs, the eccentric competitor gave a shout-out to legendary hip-hop group Wu-Tang Clan – complete with “W” hand sign and a cry of “Wu-Tang is for the children,” referencing late group member ODB’s memorable moment at the 1998 Grammys.
It didn’t escape the notice of another Wu-Tang member, Method Man, who gave a shout-out to Harlaut himself on Facebook this morning:
Another sign that the Olympics is no longer just a big sporting event, but also a big one for social media, too.
