Four years ago, Kevin Martin became the first skip in Olympic curling history to go through the round-robin undefeated.
Now, in Sochi, another Canadian skip has become the first woman to pull off that feat.
Jennifer Jones (pictured) and her Canadian teammates improved to a perfect 9-0 in Sochi round-robin action today by topping South Korea, 9-4, in the Ice Cube.

“It feels unbelievable,” Jones said about the accomplishment in a Team Canada release. “In my opinion, this is one of the toughest fields that has ever been assembled for women’s curling.
“To go through undefeated, and to go into the Olympic record books, is pretty awesome.”
Canada now looks ahead to a semifinal game on Wednesday with Great Britain. The other semifinal, Sweden vs. Switzerland, will take place simultaneously.
