Annie Rogers won a contest to date Olympic bronze medalist Nick Goepper, with a little help from Jason Mraz.
The slopestyle skier Goepper chose Rogers in his social media contest after she sang Mraz’s “I’m Yours” to Goepper on YouTube.

Rogers, 21, is a Kent State University senior and zoology major, according to Ohio reports.
“I must have said ‘what’ 17 times before I could even move or breathe or do anything,” Rogers said, according to the Akron Beacon Journal. “I was just incredibly excited. Seeing a picture of the two of us Photoshopped together was surreal. It was hilarious.”
The Goepper-Rogers date will hopefully be in Los Angeles or New York in the next few weeks, Goepper told the newspaper.
“She had an amazing video,” Goepper said. “The lyrics were funny, witty and sweet. She had that little thing at the end and said some funny stuff. I was smiling a lot.”
It was a busy Monday for Goepper, who was also honored by Indiana Gov. Mike Pence as a “distinguished Hoosier” in Indianapolis. He also skied at the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Goepper had a great day, but Olympic champion slopestyle snowboarder Sage Kotsenburg also deserves some praise for this tweet:
