Two more U.S. Paralympic Alpine skiers crashed and were flown to a hospital Monday, two days after Tyler Walker suffered a tumbling fall of his own at Rosa Khutor.
Alana Nichols and Stephani Victor crashed within a half-hour of each other in the sitting super-G on the third day of the Paralympics, according to Inside the Games.
Nichols, 30, is the first U.S. woman to win Paralympic Summer and Winter gold medals. She was on the Paralympic champion women’s wheelchair basketball team in 2008 and then won four Alpine skiing medals, include two golds, at the 2010 Paralympics.
Nichols won silver in the Sochi sitting downhill Saturday.
Victor, 44, won three medals at the 2010 Paralympics.
