The Boston Marathon is fast approaching. Just look at Boylston Street.
A replica finish line was painted onto the pavement on Tuesday. The actual finish line on race day — April 21 — is an adhesive material that will be laid over the painted yellow line once the race gets closer.
The 118th Boston Marathon comes one year after two bombings killed three people and injured more than 260 near the Boylston Street finish.
The Boston Athletic Association also plans to hang two banners near the finish line to honor those affected by the bombings, according to the Boston Globe.
