Mark Pavelich, a member of the 1980 Miracle on Ice hockey team, is selling his Olympic gold medal.

Bidding will start at $62,500 and run to mid-May, but the auction house expects “a floor” price of $250,000, according to the Minneapolis Star Tribune.

Previously, teammate Mark Wells sold his gold medal for $310,700 in November 2010. Captain Mike Eruzione sold his stick from the U.S.-Soviet Union game in 1980 and his jersey from the final game against Finland to a 9-year-old boy named Seven last year, but not his gold medal.

Pavelich, 56, isn’t having financial troubles, a director of the auction house said.

“He’s doing fine,” Heritage Auctions sports director Chris Ivy told the newspaper. “It’s something that he wants to help his kids out with education, the trust and that kind of thing.”
