Yuna Kim said she deserved to win a silver medal at the Sochi Olympics, where controversial judging awarded the gold to Russian Adelina Sotnikova.

“The classification I received was what I deserved,” Kim told L’Osservatore Romano, a Vatican City newspaper.

The 2010 Olympic gold medalist also said she didn’t blame anyone for what happened six months ago.

In June, the Korea Skating Union’s complaints about the judging were dismissed by the International Skating Union, which found no bias from Russian judge Alla Shekhovtseva, who is married to a top Russian figure skating federation official and was seen hugging Sotnikova shortly after she won gold.

Kim, 23, retired after Sochi and has been linked to interest in graduate school and coaching.
