The U.S. women completed a dominating run through the Youth Olympic 3-on-3 basketball tournament, winning gold Tuesday.
Dejanae Boykin, Arike Ogunbowale, Napheesa Collier and Katie Lou Samuelson beat the Netherlands 19-10 in the final in Nanjing.
The Americans went 13-0 for the entire tournament, outscoring their opponents 272-97. The U.S. won bronze in the event at the first Youth Olympics in 2010.
The U.S. did not have a men’s team in Nanjing. The U.S. men finished fourth in 2010, losing to Serbia in the semifinals and Greece in the bronze-medal game.
