The sport of curling was immortalized at the Olympic Museum in Lausanne, Switzerland, with a sculpture.
Curling, an official sport at the first Winter Olympics in 1924 and then not again until 1998, is the first Winter Olympic sport to have a sculpture in the Olympic Park at the museum, according to the World Curling Federation (WCF).
International Olympic Committee President Thomas Bach and WCF President Kate Caithness unveiled the work by a Swiss sculptor on Tuesday.
