A logo for the Brazil Olympic team going into the first Games hosted by a South American nation was unveiled in Rio de Janeiro on Tuesday night.
The logo is a revamped version, with the help of Nike, of one created in 2008, according to the Brazilian Olympic Committee. It was one year in the making.
People at Tuesday night’s event held signs that read, “Eu Sou #TimeBrasil,” which translates to, “I am #TeamBrazil.”
A previous logo included the words, “Time Brasil,” but that could obviously confuse English speakers.
