NBC, NBCSN and NBC Sports Live Extra have this weekend’s Alpine skiing and halfpipe events covered.

The men’s Alpine skiing World Cup stops in Beaver Creek, Colo., for its only U.S. races this season (outside February’s World Championships in Vail/Beaver Creek, of course).

U.S. Olympic giant slalom champion Ted Ligety leads the charge, set to ski with four screws in his wrist after surgery two weeks ago.

The broadcast schedule:

Downhill — Friday, 10:30-11:30 p.m. ET, NBCSN and Live Extra
Super-G — Saturday, 5-6 p.m. ET, NBC and Live Extra
Giant Slalom — Sunday, 5-6 p.m. ET, NBC and Live Extra

Top halfpipe skiers and snowboarders — including Olympic ski halfpipe champion David Wise and three-time medalist Kelly Clark — open their seasons at the Sprint U.S. Grand Prix at Copper Mountain, Colo.

Ski Halfpipe — Friday, 2:30-4:30 p.m. ET, Live Extra
Snowboard Halfpipe — Saturday, 2:30-4:30 p.m. ET, Live Extra
