Olympic gold medalists Maddie Bowman and Jamie Anderson repeated as Dew Tour Mountain Championships winners in Breckenridge, Colo., on Friday.
Bowman, 20, won in her first ski halfpipe competition since May knee surgery. Either of her runs would have taken the trophy. She landed right and left 900s in each, scoring 88.75 and 91.25.
“I felt a different pressure [after the Olympics],” Bowman said, according to the U.S. Ski Team.
Annalisa Drew, who was ninth in Sochi, took second with a first-run 86.25. Sochi bronze medalist Ayana Onozuka was also third Friday, tallying 85.75. The final was missing Sochi silver medalist Marie Martinod of France.
Anderson, 24, tallied 96.25 in her first snowboard slopestyle run for the victory despite a rib injury sustained in training earlier this week.
“I kid you not, I was in tears two nights ago and didn’t think I was going to be able to ride today,” Anderson said, according to the U.S. Ski Team.
Finnish Sochi silver medalist Enni Rukajarvi was second again, with 93.25. New Zealand’s Christy Prior took third with 90.
