World Championships medalists Sam Mikulak, Donnell Whittenburg and MyKayla Skinner will join World all-around champion Simone Biles as the U.S. entries at the American Cup on March 7 in Arlington, Texas.
Biles was announced as the headliner in December.
The international men’s field includes two-time Olympic high bar medalist Fabian Hambuechen (Germany), 2013 World all-around silver medalist Ryohei Kato (Japan) and World parallel bars champion Oleg Verniaiev (Ukraine). The international women’s field includes 2006 World all-around champion Vanessa Ferrari (Italy).
Mikulak, a 2012 Olympian, is the two-time reigning P&G Championships all-around winner. He finished 12th in the all-around at the 2014 World Championships.
Whittenburg made his Worlds debut in 2014, helping the U.S. to a team bronze and finished 17th in the all-around after placing fourth in qualifying.
Skinner also made her Worlds debut in 2014, helping the U.S. women to gold and, individually, bagging bronze on vault and taking fourth on floor exercise.
