Lindsey Vonn is back in action at the marquee event of the World Championships, the downhill on Friday in Beaver Creek, Colo., live on NBCSN and NBC Sports Live Extra.
Vonn is looking for her first gold medal since she won the Vancouver 2010 Olympic downhill. The 30-year-old bagged bronze in the World Championships super-G on Tuesday.
Vonn is one of the favorites along with Austrian Anna Fenninger, who won the super-G on Tuesday, and co-Sochi Olympic downhill champion Tina Maze, the super-G silver medalist Tuesday.
The World Championships continue through next week. The next race is the men’s downhill scheduled for Saturday.
