The U.S. Olympic Wrestling Trials will be held in Iowa City, Iowa, for the second straight time in 2016.

The event is scheduled for April 8-10, four months before the Rio Olympics. The 2012 U.S. Olympic Wrestling Trials were also held in Iowa City at the University of Iowa’s Carver-Hawekeye Arena.

The 2008 trials were in Las Vegas. The 2004 trials were in Indianapolis.

U.S. wrestlers won two gold medals at London 2012. Both champions, Jordan Burroughs and Jake Varner, are training and competing in hopes of making their second Olympic team next year.

Adeline Gray, a 2014 World champion, will look to make her first Olympic team after losing in the finals at the 2012 trials. An American woman has never won Olympic wrestling gold.
