The U.S. completed a perfect run through its group, dumping Italy 7-0 at the IPC World Sled Hockey Championship in Buffalo, N.Y., on Wednesday afternoon.
Declan Farmer scored twice. Josh Pauls, Josh Misiewicz, Kevin McKee, Josh Sweeney and Adam Page also potted goals.
The U.S., which outscored its first three opponents 20-1, will next play Canada, the Czech Republic, Japan or Norway in the semifinals Friday on NBC Sports Live Extra. The final is Sunday at 2:30 p.m. ET, live on NBCSN and NBC Sports Live Extra.
The Paralympic champion U.S. and defending World champion Canada are both undefeated and could be headed for a showdown in the final.
The U.S.-Italy game will be replayed on NBCSN at 10:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday.
