The U.S. Track and Field Championships conclude Sunday featuring Justin Gatlin, on NBC and NBC Sports Live Extra beginning at 4 p.m. ET.

Athletes are aiming for top-three finishes in Eugene, Ore., to earn spots on the U.S. team for the World Championships in Beijing’s Bird’s Nest from Aug. 22-30.

Gatlin, the world’s fastest man in 2014 and 2015 in the 100m and 200m, is already on the U.S. team for Worlds in the 100m and can book a 200m spot by finishing in the top three in the final at 5:22 p.m. ET.

Other events Sunday include the men’s and women’s 800m finals featuring World silver medalist Nick Symmonds and Ajee’ Wilson, the world’s fastest woman over two laps in 2014.

Olympic champion Jenn Suhr goes in the pole vault, Olympic and World champions Aries Merritt and David Oliver in the 110m hurdles and 2011 World champion Jenny Simpson in the 1500m.

Simpson is already assured of a spot on the World Championships team in the 1500m as the 2014 Diamond League champion.
