Track cyclist falls, gets large splinter in arm at Pan Am Games (video)

Two-time Cuban Olympic track cyclist Lisandra Guerra suffered a squeamish injury at the Pan American Games, falling and ending up with a piece of the wooden track sticking out of her right arm.

Guerra fell in the quarterfinals while racing against Mexico’s Luz Gaxiola in Toronto on Saturday.

She required four stitches to treat the wound, according to Cycling Weekly.
