Brazil judoka Mayra Aguiar, top rival to Kayla Harrison, trains atop Rio mountain (video)

Adidas took another Brazilian Olympic star atop Rio de Janeiro’s Sugarloaf Mountain for a promotional shoot, publishing a video of judoka Mayra Aguiar training with Christ the Redeemer in the background on Wednesday.

Aguiar, 24, is one of Brazil’s biggest hopes for gold at the Rio 2016 Games.

She took bronze at London 2012 and captured the 2014 World Championship, beating U.S. Olympic champion Kayla Harrison in the semifinals last year.

However, both Harrison and Aguiar were surprisingly eliminated before the medal rounds at the 2015 Worlds in August.

Adidas previously published a similar video of Brazil’s first Olympic gymnastics medalist, Arthur Zanetti, training on Sugarloaf Mountain in September.
