The world’s best Alpine skiers, including Lindsey Vonn, are competing in North America on Friday, on NBC Sports Live Extra.

First up is the Birds of Prey men’s downhill at Beaver Creek, Colo. Dan Hicks and, in his broadcast analyst debut, six-time Olympic medalist Bode Miller, will have the coverage on NBCSN and Live Extra.

The favorites are Norwegians Aksel Lund Svindal and Kjetil Jansrud, while the U.S. contingent is led by Sochi Olympian Travis Ganong, the reigning World silver medalist.

Later, the four-time World Cup overall champion Vonn skis at her favorite course in Lake Louise, Alberta, on Live Extra.

Vonn, a 15-time winner at Lake Louise, looks to extend her women’s World Cup record of 67 victories. She won’t have to face top rivals Anna Fenninger or Tina Maze, both not competing this season, or Mikaela Shiffrin, who doesn’t race downhills.
