Austrian Dominic Thiem became the third men’s tennis player ranked in the world top 23 to say he will not compete in the Rio Olympics on Thursday.

Thiem said he is choosing to play a low-level ATP event in Mexico during the Olympics, skipping Rio “for many reasons” that he didn’t divulge, according to reports.

Thiem, who previously doubted he would play in Rio, is ranked No. 15 in the world and beat 17-time Grand Slam singles champion Roger Federer to reach the Italian Open quarterfinals on Thursday.

Thiem, the only Austrian ranked in the world top 100, joined American John Isner (ranked No. 16) and Spaniard Feliciano Lopez (No. 23) in saying he will skip the Rio Games.
