Boxing legend Muhammad Ali is in fair condition after being hospitalized with a respiratory infection.

“Ali, who suffers from Parkinson’s disease, is being treated by his team of doctors and is in fair condition,” family spokesman Bob Gunnell said in a statement.  “A brief hospital stay is expected. At this time, the Muhammad Ali family respectfully requests privacy.”

Ali, 74, was hospitalized in January 2015 with a urinary tract infection.

This summer marks the 20-year anniversary of Ali’s famous Atlanta Olympic cauldron lighting.

Janet Evans, who passed the Olympic flame to the 1960 Olympic gold medalist Ali, reflected on that moment last year.
