Fraser-Pryce, 29, will try in Rio to become the first man or woman to win three straight Olympic 100m titles, one day before countryman Usain Bolt attempts the same feat.
Fraser-Pryce is a greater doubt than Bolt, given she has been dealing with a toe injury and was beaten handily at her Olympic Trials on July 1.
Trials winner Elaine Thompson equaled Fraser-Pryce’s national record of 10.70, with Fraser-Pryce a distant second in 10.93.
Americans English Gardner and Tori Bowie and the Netherlands’ Dafne Schippers are other 100m medal contenders.
Bolt was Jamaica’s flag bearer at the 2012 Opening Ceremony, while another sprinter, Veronica Campbell-Brown, carried it in Beijing.Follow @nzaccardi
