Maybe this is a reality check for the top-ranked United States women’s volleyball team.

The U.S. was taken close to the limit by the Netherlands, but ultimately prevailed in with a fifth-set win at the Maracanazinho on Monday in the Rio Olympics. The U.S. is now 2-0.

After sweeping Puerto 3-0 in its opener, The U.S. started its second Olympic match by dropping the first set to the Netherlands, 25-18.

Down again in the second set, the Americans surged back with vigor to even the match courtesy of a 25-17 win. Kim Hill and Jordan Larson combined for 19 points.

The Netherlands wasn’t shaken, though, and claimed the third set 25-21, only to see the Americans level things with a 25-20 win.

The fifth set saw the U.S. open up a healthy lead en route to a 15-8 win.

Next up for the States is a Wednesday date with Serbia.
