The first two days of action on the tennis courts did not lack for intrigue, with multiple upsets including Novak Djokovic and Venus Williams. On Monday there will be second round action in four tournaments, the men’s and women’s singles and men’s and women’s doubles tournaments.

Women’s top seed Serena Williams, who along with sister Venus was eliminated from the doubles tournament Sunday, will face France’s Alize Cornet in a second round match Monday evening on center court. Also in the women’s singles draw is American Madison Keys, who has France’s Kristina Mladenovic in a second round match Monday morning on Court 1.
