WATCH LIVE: Olympics Day 3 water polo, handball, women’s volleyball

Day 3’s busy morning in Brazil continues with water polo, handball and women’s volleyball on display.

The United States is in play in two of those three sports, with the women’s volleyball team having beaten Puerto Rico 3-0 in its opener and hoping to strengthen its case with a win over the Netherlands at 2 p.m. EDT.


All women’s volleyball — 8 a.m. EDT

USA vs. Netherlands — 2 p.m. EDT

In water polo, the U.S. produced a game effort before ultimately falling to the reigning champs Serbia. Now it’s Spain’s turn to enter the pool against the red, white, and blue for a 10:40 a.m. EDT showdown.

USA vs. Spain — 10:40 a.m. EDT

And handball begins its day a half-hour later, with France and Russia among the better offerings on the day.
