Looking to win a sixth consecutive Olympic gold medal, the United States women’s basketball team got off to a good start with a record-breaking 121-56 win over Senegal Sunday morning. On Monday Geno Auriemma’s team stands to receive a far stiffer test from Spain, which is also 1-0 in group play after they beat Serbia 65-59 on Sunday.

All six Group B teams will be in action Monday, with undefeated Canada playing Serbia and Senegal facing China. Canada beat China 90-68 in its opener on Saturday, so they’ll have an extra day of rest on a Serbian team that played Sunday.

Also taking the court Monday will be the men of Group A, featuring the United States. After beating China by 57 points Saturday evening, the Americans play Venezuela with tip-off scheduled for 6 p.m. Eastern. Venezuela, which lost to the Americans in an exhibition played in Chicago last month, lost by 24 to Serbia on Saturday and shouldn’t provide much resistance to Mike Krzyzewski’s team.

Serbia plays an Australian team that looked quite impressive in its blowout of France on Saturday, and the French will look to rebound as they take on China in the final game of the day.
