The United States and Serbia will meet in two women’s team sports on Wednesday, women’s volleyball and women’s basketball.

The women’s volleyball match is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. Eastern in a matchup of the top two teams in Group B. Serbia has won both of their first two matches in straight sets, with the United States needing five sets to beat the Netherlands in their second group match. Both teams entered the Olympics ranked in the top ten of the FIVB’s world rankings, with the Americans first and Serbia ranked sixth.

In women’s basketball, while the United States has been dominant in wins over Senegal and Spain, Serbia has lost close contests to Spain and Canada. Tied in last place with Senegal on two points thus far, Serbia needs to get things turned around if they’re to advance into the knockout round. It’s tough to see them doing that against the United States in what would be considered a major upset, but they should be more of a test for the United States than Senegal was.
