The Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA is in the midst of airing every game from the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. NBA superstars Michael Jordan, Charles Barkley, Magic Johnson and Larry Bird won eight straight games to win the gold medal.
Tonight, the “Dream Team” takes on Germany in the group stage. Johnson missed the July 29 game due to a strained muscle in his knee, but the U.S. still managed to pull off a win, 111-68. Johnson also missed the game against Brazil (July 31), but returned to the court to face Spain on Aug. 2.
All eight games will be shown in sequential order via their original NBC Olympic broadcasts. Each night’s airing will start at 8 p.m. ET, unless noted otherwise below.
