Edmunds, 18 and the 2016 U.S. silver medalist, withdrew before the world championships last March with a bone bruise in her right foot.

Edmunds, who is training in full, is still scheduled to skate in her other Grand Prix series event, NHK Trophy in Japan the final weekend of November, according to U.S. Figure Skating.

Also, Tyler Pierce, who finished fifth at the U.S. Championships in January, will miss her only scheduled Grand Prix series event. Pierce withdrew from Trophée de France in November due to a lumbar sprain.
