Simone Biles details first tattoo, gets pranked on ‘Ellen’

Simone Biles paid Ellen DeGeneres a visit for a third time, but this time she received quite the scare.

Biles was near the end of a sitdown interview with DeGeneres when her “Dancing with the Stars” partner, Sasha Farber, leaped out from a box between the two women.

Earlier in the interview, Biles discussed her first tattoo, the recent addition of the Olympic rings to her right forearm.

“I said I would never get a tattoo, but then after the Olympics, I really wanted one,” Biles said. “So then I left and went to go get one. And my parents didn’t think I was going to get it, and I did.

“I have a pretty high pain tolerance, so I wasn’t really nervous, and it didn’t hurt, but the guy that was doing it was shaking so bad, and kept making me stand up to check if it was straight. So I was like, oh my gosh, is this the best idea after all?”

Gymnast Laurie Hernandez might not suit up for competition this year, but her calendar is sure to be very busy.

Hernandez, 16 and the youngest woman on the 2016 U.S. Olympic team, told Ellen DeGeneres that her goals for the year are to go on her first date and get her driver’s license.

Hernandez also said she would like to go on “Law & Order,” which DeGeneres was apparently prepared to hear. The host showed a video message from series actors inviting Hernandez to appear in an episode.

“I know the theme song by heart,” Hernandez said. “That would be so cool.”

Hernandez would not be the first Olympian to appear on the show.

Lindsey Vonn made it on a 2010 episode, playing the role of a secretary.

Katie Ledecky was offered a waffle maker if she won a made-up game on The Ellen Show. Ever the student-athlete, she would not accept.

Show host Ellen DeGeneres proposed Ledecky could use the appliance in her dorm room at the Pac-12 school.

“Well I’m competing NCAA, so I can’t really accept things,” Ledecky quickly replied.

Ledecky appeared to end up beating Grant McCartney of American Ninja Warrior fame in a game DeGeneres called “Foot Flickers.”

Ledecky is starting her freshman year at Stanford this month. The first Stanford Cardinal swim meet is Oct. 14 at Oregon State.
