GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte has wed the mother of his 7-month-old son.

Lochte and former Playboy model Kayla Rae Reid were married by a judge Tuesday in Gainesville, where Lochte attended college at the University of Florida.

Their son, Caiden, was born last June.

According to the marriage license obtained by TMZ Sports, Lochte’s father, Steven, was a witness.

Lochte, a 12-time Olympic medalist, and Reid appear to be holding off on a honeymoon.

He is scheduled to be in Austin, Texas, on Saturday to sign autographs at a swim meet, while Reid tweeted Thursday that she was on her way back to their California home with Caiden.

The couple got engaged in October 2016, not long after Lochte created an international scandal when he falsely claimed that he and three other U.S. swimmers had been robbed at gunpoint at the Rio Olympics.

He was suspended for 10 months by USA Swimming and has returned to competition.

Ryan Lochte and fiancée Kayla Rae Reid welcomed their baby boy, Caiden Zane Lochte, this morning, according to Lochte’s social media.

“Never seen a miracle happen before,” was posted on the swimmer’s social media. “Until this morning at 5:46 am when CAIDEN ZANE LOCHTE was born. 7lbs 14oz, 22 inches. can’t stop crying from tears of joy. Dream come true!”

Lochte proposed to Reid last year, and they plan to get married.

Lochte, a 12-time Olympic medalist, can return from his 10-month USA Swimming suspension in July following his Rio Olympic gas station incident. He reportedly has meets planned starting in August.

Lochte has already competed this spring in a non-USA Swimming-sanctioned meet.

Both Lochte and longtime rival Michael Phelps picked unique names for their sons. Neither a Caiden nor a Boomer has competed at an Olympics.

Lochte plans to compete through the 2020 Olympic season, eyeing his fifth Olympics.

While Phelps has retired, fellow dads Anthony Ervin (two-time Olympic 50m free champ) and Matt Grevers (2012 Olympic 100m back champ) are still competing.

Ryan Lochte is going to become a father in 2017, according to the swimmer and his fiancée’s social media.

The 12-time Olympic medalist and Playboy model Kayla Rae Reid posed for photos underwater for their announcement, reminiscent of Michael Phelps‘ now-wife, then-fiancée Nicole Johnson‘s shoot from May.

Lochte and Reid announced their engagement in October after an elaborate plan by Lochte highlighted by a helicopter ride.

Lochte is suspended suspended through June 30 and excluded from the 2017 World Championships by USA Swimming as punishment following his Rio gas-station incident.

Lochte has said he plans to return to competition after the ban with an eye on the 2020 Olympics.

Lochte will turn 36 years old during the 2020 Tokyo Games, making him older than all but two previous U.S. Olympic swimmers in individual events (Edgar Adams, 1904, and Dara Torres, 2008).
