One of the world’s best golfers ended on top after the first day of women’s Olympic golf in over a century.

Thailand’s Ariya Jutanugarn shot a 6-under 65 to leave the Olympic Golf Course with a one stroke lead over South Korea’s Inbee Park and Seiyoung Kim after one round.

U.S. medal hope Lexi Thompson is tied for 7th after shooting a 68, while World No. 1 Lydia Ko of New Zealand shot a 2-under 69.

That’s the same score as American golfer Gerina Piller, who is tied for 11th, and one stroke better than USA’s Stacy Lewis.
